Asus ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) debuts with Snapdragon 410 and Marshmallow-based ZenUI 2.0

Asus has come up with another variant of the ZenFone Go (ZB450KL). The new variant has been unveiled in Russia for RUB 7990 (approx. Rs. 8,250). Asus has not yet revealed the availability of the device in regions outside Russia. To recap, Asus launched the old variant - ZenFone Go (ZB452KG) in India at Rs. 5,299, in April.

The Asus ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) is a successor to the ZenFone Go (ZB452KG). As always, Asus has launched a variant with the same name but different model number. The new ZenFone Go comes with better hardware. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Regarding connectivity, the new ZenFone Go supports 4G LTE with Cat. 4 download speeds. It boasts an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. A 2070mAh battery backs it. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based ZenUI 2.0. It measures 136.5x66.7x11.2mm and weighs 135 grammes.
