Asus Zenfone 6 Design Prototypes

The first renders and prototype come from Rodrigo Portella, and this design comes with a unique design which trumps the notch and screen to body ratio of the Zenfone 5Z. The prototype is seen sporting a glass on the front and possibly a glass back. The phone does come with a headphone jack, and there is a possibility of a USB Type C port on the bottom edge. The SIM tray finds its spot on the top side, with the edges of the phone being covered in metal. The most highlighting feature of the phone is the tiny cutout on the front side which is located on the upper left side. This cutout houses the front camera and paves the way for a better screen to body ratio.

The second prototype comes from a Portuguese podcast channel, and it hints towards a similar design but with a different cutout on the front located on the upper right side of the screen. This tiny notch mixes with the black bezels and seems like a protrusion from the borders. The prototype also bears waterproof marking on the back side with a very reflective finish in black colour. There is a dual camera setup on the rear side which looks standard, and there is no sign of headphone jack or other ports.

The third prototype revealed by Indian YouTuber C4ETech seems a lot familiar to the eyes as it resembles a lot of smartphones being launched in the market right now. This prototype, shows the Asus Zenfone 6 sporting a dewdrop styled notch. On the rear side, we get to see the pretty standard design with concentric circles radiating from the middle where the rear-mount fingerprint scanner is situated. The prototype also hints towards three camera modules, all vertically stacked.

With these three prototypes of the Asus Zenfone 6 out now, the hype of the phone seems to have caught fire. In the coming months, we will get to see what way the Asus Zenfone 6 takes to compete better in the market with a strong aesthetic appeal. It’s also entirely possible that the upcoming Asus Zenfone Max might also borrow some inspiration from these prototypes, apart from the Asus Zenfone 6.

Asus Zenfone 6: Release Date and Features

The Asus Zenfone 5Z is the current flagship phone for Asus and the upcoming could be called as Zenfone 6Z. This year's Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z featured a similar design, but the internals differed, so expect the same with the 2019 Asus Zenfone models.
