Asus Zenfone 5Z Android 10 Update: What's New?
First of all, do make a note that the Android 10 update for the Zenfone 5Z will be based on ZenUI 6. The best part of this update is the Taiwanese company removed the entire bloatware and made the UI a stock Android lookalike. For the unaware, the Asus 6Z offered stock Android experience and the same UI is now rolled out the Zenfone 5Z as well.
Talking about the changelog, the company has upgraded the overall system to Android 10 and it brings the latest November 2019 security patches as well. The company also says the ZenUI 6 based on Android 10 for the Zenfone 5Z removes several features like Page Marker, ZeniMoji, Selfie Master, Beauty Live, Kids Mode, Easy Mode, weather animation setting, AI charging, WebStorage, Go2Pay, Report Location in Safeguard, and Yandex cloud option in File Manager.
In addition to this, users of Zenfone 5Z after Android 10 update will no longer be able to make twin apps for Arena of Valor, PUBG, Vainglory, and Injustice 2. Basically, these are the high-end apps from respective game makers. ZenUI 6 for Zenfone 5Z comes with v100.04.44.98 build number. Lastly, Asus has moved the Themes and Mobile Manager apps to Advanced Settings section that can be found inside the 'Settings' app.
Aforesaid, the ZenUI 6 update is rolling out to the Zenfone 5Z in a phased manner, so it will reach your phone in the coming weeks.
