Asus Zenfone 3 Laser smartphone now up for online sale in India at Rs. 18,999

Adding another addition to Zenfone 3 series, Asus has launched Zenfone 3 Laser (ZC551KL) smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 18,999, the new Asus Zenfone 3 Laser will be available in two colour options - Glacier Silver and Sand Gold.

Featuring a premium-crafted metallic design and slim bezel, Asus Zenfone 3 Laser sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.5D contoured edges. Under the hood is a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB RAM. There is an inbuilt memory of 32GB expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The most touted feature on the Zenfone 3 Laser is its camera. There is a 13MP primary camera (Sony IMX214) with f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, color correction (RGB) sensor, and dual-LED real tone flash. It is equipped with electronic image stabilization offering a steady video/FHD video recording. It also promises a good low light experience, among its other prominent camera features.

For connectivity, this Asus Zenfone 3 Laser dual SIM smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G, to name a few. There is a fingerprint sensor in the rear that promises to unlock the smartphone in 0.3 seconds. It runs Android Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0 on top. The speaker is ICEpower-enhanced and dual microphone with Noise Cancellation, overall delivering a good audio experience. A 3000mAh battery powers the device.

The smartphone will initially be available on Flipkart for a month. Later, it will also be available on other leading e-commerce sites, retail stores and Asus stores across India.
