Taiwanese smartphone brand, Asus has partnered with telecom operator Reliance Jio to join the 'Additional Data Offer,' bandwagon, which will offer extra data for consumers who purchased an Asus smartphone after June 16, 2017.
Asus says that the Additional Data Offer will open up a world of possibilities and grants the user's unlimited freedom to access content and information anytime anywhere. Under this offer, Reliance Jio will be offering up to 100GB data with Asus smartphones released in recent times.
Asus and Reliance Jio has divided the offer into three groups. In the first group, Asus smartphone users with devices Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone Max, Zenfone Live, Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.5 LTE will get 3GB additional data voucher.
The second group includes Asus smartphones such as Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, Zenfone 3S Max, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3 Max 5.2, and Zenfone 3 Max 5.5. These device users will get 5GB 4G data voucher. And the third group includes devices- Zenfone Zoom, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 5.2, and Zenfone 3 5.5. These handset users will get 10GB 4G data voucher.
That said, the above data vouchers will be credited to the user's Jio account if and only they recharge with an amount of Rs. 309 and above. Also, the Additional Data Offer is valid only for JioPrime customers.
Reliance Jio says that the applicable Additional Data Voucher would be credited to the account of the eligible subscriber within 48 hours of recharge. The eligible customer can avail a maximum of ten (10) Additional Data Vouchers during the period of the offer, i.e., up to March 31, 2018. And the customer has to do ten recharges to get ten vouchers in the offer period.
To activate the applicable Additional Data Vouchers and avail the free data offer, the subscriber will have to download the MyJio Application on the applicable Asus smartphone.
