Apple has always been known as the company that could sell its products without offering discounts. But in a recent bid to boost the sales of its yesteryear products, it is offering discounts that are bound to attract a slew of buyers. Apple is offering a discount of Rs 10,000 on the iPhone 4S 8GB and the same holds true for 4th Generation iPad with Retina display. Let us have a look at the finer print.

iPhone 4S 8GB:

Apple Launches iPhone 4S

iPhone 4S 8GB which now comes with a price tag of Rs 31,500 is being offered with an instant cashback of Rs 7,500, thus bringing the price down to Rs 24,000. Anyhow you can get the device for a similar price through majority of the stores as well. But post this, if you send in your old device, Apple will offer you a discount of another Rs 2,500, thus increasing the total discount to Rs 10,000 and bringing the effective price to Rs 21,500. At this price, Apple will attract a lot of people to the camp. Here’s a brief list of the specifications of the iPhone 4S:

  • 3.5 inches screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels
  • Dual Core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor coupled with PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU
  • 8 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM
  • 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera
  • iOS 7.1

The iPhone 4S 8GB is a device for the ones who want an Apple smartphone no matter what but can’t afford the likes of the iPhone 5S. The competition at this price point includes Nexus 4, S4 (costs around Rs 27,000-28,000), Elife E7 and a slew of other older flagships which we think can serve you better.
