The report published by Hindustan Times says, that the Apple iPhone 7 will go on sale in India from September 26. It also tips the pricing for the next-gen iPhone, the base variant of the iPhone 7 (32GB) will start at Rs. 63,000. But we can’t believe the report entirely as there are various factors that Apple considers before bringing the device to any country. If India is among the first countries to get the device, which might be possible as Tim Cook has been giving rapt attention to the Indian smartphone market.

Hindustan Times quoted its source saying,“We are already preparing for the launch of iPhones as the shipping dates from the US is expected to be somewhere between September 15 to 19. We should have the phones by September 26.”

We doubt the report to some extent as Apple has a particular way of doing things. Going by its past launches, the company has never launched its product on a Monday. Also, if India is among the first nations to get the device, then it will not have a separate date from other countries in the cluster. Other reports suggest that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are most likely to go on sale in the US on September 23.
