Amazon is looking to change the online shopping scenario in India. The e-commerce giant has introduced a new scheme called '15-Day Price Guarantee.' Under this new scheme, Amazon is offering cashback on a select set of products ranging from smartphones to major electronic appliances if the product price reduces within 15 days from the date of you purchasing it. This new offer is applicable during 'The Great Indian Sale' between January 20 to January 24. The offer is already live, and the customers who purchased an eligible product under the price guarantee scheme are eligible for the offer.
Here's how the Amazon 15-Day Price Guarantee Scheme works
As stated, this 15-Day Price Guarantee Scheme is available on a limited set of products, and it protects the customer against any reduction in prices on the products they purchase during the Great India Sale from the seller, for a price guarantee period of 15 days.
Smartphones such as OnePlus 5T, Motorola Moto G5S Plus, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Lenovo K8 Note, etc. are eligible for the offer. All the eligible products for the offer can be found on Amazon India website.
So Amazon will provide you cashback if the price of the purchased product reduces in the next 15 days. But what's the cashback amount. Well, if the seller you purchased from during the Great Indian Sale further drops prices on the eligible products during the next 15 days after your purchase, you will be refunded the 'difference' as a cashback in your Amazon Pay wallet automatically within 72 hours after the price guarantee period is over.
With this new scheme, Amazon India is making customers purchase with much freedom, and also justifies that the company is offering maximum deals during the Great Indian Sale. Also, the cashback will be credited to the Amazon Pay account, which means that it can be used in the future purchased on Amazon India website.
Also, do make a note that the Price Guarantee will not be issued to the customer if the order for the products is cancelled, returned or if a refund has been initiated for such purchase.
This is one of the best moves from Amazon in recent times. For the unaware, a well-known e-commerce portal Onlymobiles.com already has such offer, but it' surprising to see Amazon coming out with the same scheme. But sadly this 15-Day Price Guarantee Scheme is only valid during the Great Indian Sale, which concludes tomorrow.
