Alcatel is leaving no stone unturned in promoting its brand in India. First, it launched the One Touch Idol X+ exclusively with Flipkart with an amazing pricing of Rs 16,999 and now, it has launched a series of low to high-end Android smartphones in India. Today, the Chinese smartphone maker has unveiled three new smartphones under its Idol range; Idol X, Idol S and Idol Mini along with a Galaxy Note-like phablet, One Touch Hero.

The Idol Mini is an entry-level Android smartphone with a smaller display and low-powered processor. It comes with features such as ‘pic to the left’, that allows users to swipe and flip through the photo gallery to share it with friends instantly. The Idol S comes with 4G connectivity, while the Idol X has a quad-core processor. These smartphones endorse screen sizes ranging from 4.3-inches to 5-inches at 2.4mm thickness. The Alcatel Idol range of smartphones will be available starting at Rs 10,000 and storage options ranging from 4GB/8GB/16GB.
The Alcatel One Touch Hero, which stands in comparison with Samsung Galaxy Note 3, is a high-end smartphone with 6-inch IPS LCD display and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Similar to Galaxy Note 3, the One Touch Hero comes with a stylus for taking notes and it features a dual-screen mode which facilitates users to work on two apps simultaneously. Priced at Rs 30,000, the Alcatel One Touch Hero is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB of internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3400 mAh battery.
