Alcatel has launched yet another smartphone, the Alcatel Flash 2, in India in the entry-level segment. The device was announced last month, and the company had announced that it will launch it in the country on October 20, and it did so as promised. The Alcatel Flash 2 is priced at Rs. 9,299, and it available exclusively through Flipkart.

The Alcatel Flash 2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display, a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage space, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. In terms of connectivity, the device is a dual-SIM smartphone, and it can connect to 4G LTE as well as 3G networks. There's Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, GPS, and microUSB port on the offer.
It is equipped with a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL image sensor with phase-detection autofocus and f/2.0 aperture, and it is accompanied by a real-tone dual-LED flash. The camera, which can focus within 0.3 second, can also record 1080p videos The front-facing camera sensor, which is made by OmniVision (OV5648) has a resolution of 5 megapixels and f/2.2 aperture, can record 720p HD videos.
The smartphone will be available in Volcanic Grey colour. The Alcatel Flash 2 sale is will start at 12:00 PM on October 27 2015, and the registration have started already. The registration will stop at 11:59 PM on October 26, 2015. It competes with the likes of the Lenovo K3 Note, the Samsung Galaxy J5, the ASUS Zenfone Selfie, Meizu M2 note, YU Yureka Plus, and the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
