The prepaid telecom industry in India right now is going through twist and turns every other day. There is no keeping a finger on the nerve of the industry right now because of the ups and downs and the radical changes that the telecom operators are making at such high frequency. The series of events started with the tariff hike which was brought forth by the private telecom operators and then followed by the likes of other telcos like Reliance Jio. The only telecom operator left to introduce a tariff hike on its prepaid plans is the state-led telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). However, even with the private telecom operators hiking their prices on the prepaid plans, there is plenty for the subscribers to get used to. In the most recent move from the private telcos is the introduction of the new prepaid plans with 56 days validity. The telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have all introduced two new prepaid plans in their portfolio, one around the Rs 400 price range and the other around the Rs 450 price range. However, the incumbents may have finally managed to beat Reliance Jio with the launch of these new prepaid plans. Here is how.

Reliance Jio Prepaid Plans With 56 Days Validity
Firstly, we will take a look at what the Reliance Jio prepaid plans are offering with their 56 days validity offerings. The first plan in this comparison is the Rs 399 prepaid plan which offers 1.5GB daily data to the subscribers for 56 days straight, thus totalling to 84 days of total data benefit. Along with this, the subscribers also get the benefit of 100 SMS per day and Jio to Jio free calling. In the case of off-net calls or calls to other networks, the telecom operators ship 2,000 minutes.
