Bharti Airtel has finally made a much-needed change to its Rs 399 entry-level postpaid plan. Airtel is now offering additional 20GB data with the Rs 399 myPlan Infinity Postpaid plan. However, it’s unknown whether Airtel is offering 20GB data on a monthly basis or for a year. If it’s monthly data benefit, Airtel’s Rs 399 postpaid plan now offers 40GB data every month; however, if it’s 20GB additional data for a year, then the plan will still offer 20GB data every month. According to the information we have, the data benefit is termed as ‘Additional 20GB Data for a Year,’ hinting at 20GB data benefit with a validity of one year. So if you’re a new customer joining the Airtel postpaid network and choosing the Rs 399 plan, you’ll receive 40GB of data with 20GB monthly data and 20GB data which will be expired after a year.
Having said that, Airtel’s Rs 399 plan is part of the Data Rollover scheme, and a user can accumulate up to 500GB of data in the account. Other benefits still remain the same- unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 399 plan still doesn’t offer Amazon Prime subscription like the other Airtel myPlan Infinity postpaid plans.
Recently, Vodafone has revised the Rs 399 and Rs 499 plans offering better data benefit than Airtel. Vodafone’s Rs 399 plan is currently providing 40GB of data benefit every month, and the Rs 499 RED plan gives a user 75GB of data on a monthly basis. While Airtel already made a change to the Rs 499 postpaid plan to match Vodafone, the Rs 399 plan received a revision just now.
Coming to the entry-level postpaid plan of Rs 399, Vodafone is ahead of Airtel because it’s offering more data benefit and even Amazon Prime subscription for one year. Idea Cellular, on the other hand, is yet to revised its Nirvana range of postpaid plans.
