Transforming Indian Offline Retail and Customer Engagement Using AI

Airtel is looking to combat Reliance Jio in every possible way. After offering stiff competition to Jio in tariff plans, the country’s largest telecom network has now launched a portal, `Airtel Secure’ to compete with the JioSecurity application.

However, with the JioSecurity application, you can just protect your device from any malware or threats. But, with Airtel Secure, the company is offering more benefits such as mobile repair service, cloud backup, etc.
Airtel Secure is available on a premium subscription basis for both prepaid and postpaid consumers in two forms- Rs. 49 and Rs. 79. Airtel determines the subscription price based on the device you use and the plan will be valid for one month. The major highlight of the Airtel Secure is the ‘Secure handset against damage’ service.
Airtel has partnered with OneAssist Consumer Solutions Pvt Ltd to provide the support for any accidental damage happened to your phone. Either Airtel or OneAssist will pick up the device from your doorstep after raising a claim. A customer can apply a maximum of two claims with each Airtel Secure subscription.
Besides the repair service, Airtel is also offering the secure features such as malware protection, theft, and web protection. For providing this service, Airtel has collaborated with Norton. However, customer needs to install Norton Mobile Security application additionally to get the benefits mentioned above.
