Bharti Airtel Introduces Rs 299 Prepaid Plan With Amazon Prime Benefits Under New Airtel Thanks Scheme

In a new move and the first of its kind introduction, the Sunil Mittal Bharti led telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has introduced its flagship customer programme #AirtelThanks. This programme will be a new offering from Airtel aimed at inspiring brand loyalty in customers as they will be able to enjoy exclusive benefits from Airtel. Notably, the new #AirtelThanks scheme will offer the benefits to subscribers on tier based method wherein subscribers will land in Gold, Silver or Platinum tier and each level will unlock a set of new benefits. The benefits which Airtel subscribers will get to enjoy will be made up by Airtel’s partnerships with premium content brands like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Zee5 to Wynk music and also device brands and many more. The company also introduced a new Rs 299 prepaid plan which provides a user 2.5GB of daily data and Amazon Prime membership.




Airtel Thanks Scheme Benefits and Tier Details

Airtel has noted that as part of the silver tier in #AirtelThanks, the subscribers will enjoy basic benefits like Airtel TV and Wynk. With Gold tier, customers will get access to many add-on telecom benefits and great value access on premium content or financial services. On the platinum level, the subscribers will get VIP services from Airtel which would include premium content, e-books, device protection, and exclusive invites and priority access to events and sales. A new app will also power the #AirtelThanks benefits and on the same lines, the app has been named “Airtel Thanks”. The telco has noted that the application will be simple and intuitive to use and will be supported with strong data-science and segmentation algorithms to customise the user experiences, based on user interests and profiles.

Adarsh Nair, Chief Product Officer, Bharti Airtel said about this new offering, “#AirtelThanks is an ambitious program that is built on deep technology and incredible partnerships. In its latest avatar, we are evolving the program to deliver highly differentiated experiences that are tailored to our customers’ needs. We are also segmenting our customer base and ensuring that our high-value customers get VIP service.” Talking about the latest tech that Airtel is working with, he said that the company is also utilising the power of “data science, machine learning and smart APIs to develop these experiences in partnership with digital first brands like Amazon.”

New Rs 299 Airtel Prepaid Recharge With Amazon Prime Benefits

Another exciting development in this regard is Airtel’s new prepaid plan which it has launched keeping in mind the unique #AirtelThanks benefits. This new prepaid bundle which will be available for Rs 299 will provide 28 days of Amazon Prime benefits along with 2.5GB daily data. Further, the plan will also enable unlimited calls to any network across the country and 100 SMS per day. The benefits of the Amazon Prime membership will be redeemable through the Airtel Thanks app. The telco has also noted that the new prepaid recharge of Rs 299 will be available for purchase from all platforms and even offline.
