This new recharge is unique for the feature phone users as customers recharging their Airtel number with this pack for a new feature phone will get additional benefits. After 30 days of your new phone, the benefits will change slightly depending on your circle. In the Mera Naya Feature Phone recharge, Airtel is offering Unlimited Local, STD Mobile Calls along with 10GB data for 168 days. The telco is also offering 300 SMS per 28 days renewed every 28 days until the pack expires. What’s crucial to note is that the 10GB data will only work on non-4G handsets.
In case you are using a 4G or a non 4G device and your IMEI has been 30 days or older then in the Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, UP-east, UP-west, Gujrat, Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai), Haryana, Madhya Pradesh circles you will enjoy unlimited local and STD calls with 10GB data for 140 days instead of 168 days. The subscribers will also get 300SMS which will be renewed every 28 days.
Lastly, for all other circles, and all other handsets, the benefits of 10GB data, unlimited calls and 300SMS will remain the same, but the validity of the plan will be reduced to 112 days. However, Airtel has also noted that the maximum validity that can be accumulated by the customer is limited to 180 days only.
