India's largest telecom network, Bharti Airtel, a couple of days ago gifted free data for all its postpaid users ranging from 6 GB to 30 GB for three months for being titled as the fastest network in India by Ookla. And now, the company has come up with yet another initiative for new postpaid customers. Airtel is promising that a new customer can now get a postpaid connection in under two hours.

Airtel is claiming the same on their website as 'Impatient? Get your SIM in two hours'. Users can select a single plan or family plan from the site. However, the major disappointment with this scheme is that you can't choose the Airtel's myPlan Infinity plans as the website only limits you to create your plan by selecting the monthly rentals ranging from Rs. 199 to Rs. 1599.

You can also track your submitted request from the website itself, and Airtel assures that the customer executive will visit your location within two hours to verify the address details and the SIM card will be activated post verification. Do make a note that the delivery service is currently available only in five cities of India: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Previously, Airtel used to deliver 4G SIM cards in one hour for the users who are upgrading their SIM card from 3G to 4G network. With this new feature, Airtel is challenging Reliance Jio in the SIM card delivery space as well. Reliance Jio also delivering SIM card at your door step in some circles of India and the activation is also imminent if you submit your local Aadhar card as proof.

Bharti Airtel recently revamped their myPlan Infinity postpaid plans to match with plans of Reliance Jio. The company is now offering 6GB of data, and unlimited local and STD calls on both roaming incoming and roaming outgoing at just Rs. 799 per month.

Also, for prepaid customers, Airtel has introduced a new plan of Rs. 345 under which they are offering 1GB of internet daily for 28 days, which can be usable as 500MB of daytime and 500MB on night time. The Rs. 345 plan also provides unlimited local and STD calls for 28 days.
