Bharti Airtel has come up with yet another data offer to counter Reliance Jio’s attractive tariff plans. Airtel is now offering 30GB of 3G/4G data for the users with a 4G handset, and the best part is that the scheme will be valid for 90 days.

However, if you don’t have a 4G handset, you will get only 15GB of 3G data valid for 90 days. The plan is available for segmented users. In case you are among the lucky ones, you will have to recharge with Rs. 1495 to avail the offer. This offer matches Aircel’s Rs. 999 plan for one year, with which the company is offering 36GB of data for 12 months with a monthly FUP of 3GB data per day.

There’s another offer from Airtel at Rs. 997, which sadly, is only applicable for segmented 4G handset users. The Rs. 997 plan gives 22GB of data, but the data will be valid only for 28 days.

In contrast, Reliance Jio’s non-prime Rs. 1999 plan offers 30GB of 4G data along with a validity period of 30 days. However, for Jio Prime enrolled customers, the same plan offers 125GB data with a validity period of 90 days.

Jio has another plan at Rs. 999 which provides just 12.5GB of 4G data for non-Jio Prime customers. The same plan gives 60GB of data for Jio Prime members with a validity period of 60 days for Jio Prime users.

Airtel New Offer

Clearly, Reliance Jio’s offers are better than those of Airtel’s. But, for customers who don’t enroll under the Jio Prime membership, Airtel’s plan seems to fit the bill.

As mentioned earlier, this plan from Airtel is valid only for segmented users. You can check if you are eligible by heading over to the ‘offers for you’ section in the My Airtel app. Also, you can check the eligibility from Airtel’s website under the recharge section.
