Airtel Internet TV Price Slashed to Rs 2,269, Also Comes Bundled With Google Home Mini Offer

Airtel Internet TV price in India has been slashed to Rs 2,269 by Airtel Digital TV, the Digital TV arm of Bharti Airtel. Earlier, Airtel Digital TV slashed the prices of its SD and HD Set-Top Boxes by Rs 200, and now, Airtel Internet TV has got the same treatment. It has been coming for a while as the DTH operator is looking to add more subscribers on board. At the same time, the company has introduced a new offer for new Airtel Internet TV buyers as they can purchase a new Google Home Mini from online stores at Rs 2,499, down from the original price of Rs 3,999. The Google Home Mini offer is a good one, actually as it provides a straight discount of Rs 1,500 to the customers. The Google Home Mini offer is completely optional, so if a customer decides not to purchase the smart speaker from Google, they’re entirely on their own.

Airtel Internet TV Gets a Major Price Reduction

Bharti Airtel is now selling the Airtel Internet TV for just Rs 2,269, which is down from the earlier price of Rs 3,499. Airtel Internet TV can also be purchased from Amazon Inda online store where the retailer is still selling it for Rs 3,499. The Rs 2,269 price can be availed from Airtel Digital TV’s official website, but it’s just the price of the box. Earlier, at Rs 3,499, Airtel Digital TV used to offer a Mega HD channel pack worth Rs 699 to the customers for free for one month. While the offer is still alive, at the new price of Rs 2,269, users will not get this benefit.

Upon selecting the Airtel Internet TV box from the website, users are taken to another page where they’ll have to choose their own channel pack. Earlier, Airtel Internet TV new customers used to get one month of Mega HD pack for free, post which they’re allowed to change the channel pack of their own. But under the new price offer, users will have to choose their own channel pack at the time of purchasing the Airtel Internet TV Box. Airtel Digital TV’s channel packs start from as low as Rs 127 (excluding NCF charges of Rs 153) and they go all the way up to Rs 1099 per month.

Airtel Internet TV-Google Home Mini Offer Detailed

As mentioned above, new Airtel Internet TV customers will be able to purchase a Google Home Mini speaker worth Rs 3,999 for Rs 2,499 from Flipkart. According to the information we have right now, Airtel will send an SMS to the customers with a unique coupon code that can be redeemed on Flipkart to avail the Rs 2,499 price on Google Home Mini.

That being said, this Google Home Mini offer is applicable only for new Airtel Internet TV customers, or the customers upgrading from HD or SD connection to Airtel Internet TV. The coupon code will be sent to the customers within seven days of Airtel Internet TV activation.

At the moment, it’s unknown how long till the offer last, but the coupon codes which the users are receiving will be valid until October 10, 2019.

Airtel Internet TV: Specifications and Features

Airtel Internet TV is an Android TV box from Bharti Airtel launched back in 2017. This box comes pre-loaded with popular apps like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Airtel TV and so on. The Airtel Internet TV is currently running Android 9 Pie software and it also has support for voice-enabled remote for quick access. Customers will be able to watch both OTT content and DTH content using the same box.
