Aircel Rolls Out 3G Services In Rourkela

Vikas Kakwani inaugurating 3G Service in RourkelaAircel today announced the launch of its 3G services in Rourkela.

This launch comes on the heels of successfully launching of its 3G services in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Road, Keonjhar and Sambalpur, early this year.




Kicking off the much awaited 3G service in the steel city, Mr. Vikas Kakwani, Circle Business Head (CBH), Aircel Odisha said “3G is going to propel the internet penetration in the city and would transform the lifestyle of people belonging to various shades of life.”

“The company would provide a range of 3G products & services on various prepaid & postpaid plans through its stores & various retail outlets spread across the city”, said Mr. Kakwani.

“The launch of 3G services on Aircel will address the high speed digital needs of the consumers by unleashing the power of Internet thus creating opportunities for education, employment, engagement and entertainment which will empower the consumers and impact their Lifestyle” he added.

To check for handset compatibility, customer needs to send a SMS CHECK 3G to 121 from their handset & to activate the 3G services, customer needs to send a SMS START 3G to 121 from their 3G enabled handsets.
