Aircel launches 1GB and 2GB 3G data packs with unlimited voice calling at Rs. 349, Rs. 448, and Rs. 649 with 28 days validity

In the backdrop of festive season ahead, Aircel has launched a free data offer of 1GB and 2GB 3G data with unlimited voice calling packs ranging from Rs. 349 to Rs. 649 with a validity of 28 days in Kolkata.

The Rs. 349 pack offers unlimited local Aircel calls and free 1GB 3G data for 28 days. The Rs. 448 pack offers unlimited local calls and free 1GB 3G data for 28 days. The Rs. 649 pack, on the other hand, offers unlimited local and STD calls, and free 2GB 3G data for 28 days.

There is also a recharge of Rs. 409 offering subscribers 10GB of 3G data with 28 days validity.

Adding to it, the company has also launched a special recharge of Rs. 79 using which people can make local calls at the rate of 10p and STD at the rate of 25p. This recharge too comes with a validity of 28 days.

Commenting on the new packs, Anil Gupta, Regional Manager – East, Aircel, said, “Aircel is spicing up the festivities with a whole range of exciting data and calling products. This Durga Puja we want our customers to consume entertainment online and also talk to their families and friends without worrying too much about the cost.”

The new packs intend to capture more first-time internet users. In 2015, the company is said to have recorded 60 % data revenue growth and 65% consumption growth across all circles. Aircel also witnessed a 104% growth in 3G revenues and 167% growth in 3G users last year, a release from Aircel stated.
