Aidoc and Nvidia Partner to Launch AI Integration Guideline for Healthcare
Aidoc, a clinical AI company, has announced a partnership with Nvidia to co-develop the BRIDGE (Blueprint for Resilient Integration and Deployment of Guided Excellence) guideline, aimed at accelerating AI adoption across the healthcare industry. In what the companies call an industry-first guideline, set for release in early 2025, the evidence-driven framework will help healthcare systems seamlessly integrate and scale AI innovations more quickly.

BRIDGE Guideline

"The guideline will help establish clear pathways for healthcare systems to fully harness the potential of AI in improving patient outcomes," Aidoc said in a statement this week.

Aidoc notes that despite the approval of over 900 FDA-cleared AI tools, healthcare providers still struggle with fragmentation and scalability issues. BRIDGE will address these challenges by offering a comprehensive, vendor-neutral roadmap for AI deployment, focusing on scalability, interoperability, and continuous monitoring.

Addressing Fragmentation and Scalability Issues

According to the official release, the BRIDGE guideline will provide healthcare systems with guidance on addressing scalability and interoperability from the outset, enabling the simultaneous implementation of AI solutions across multiple sites.

"AI holds the potential to revolutionise patient care, but its progress has been stalled by fragmented systems and the inability to scale effectively," said Demetri Giannikopoulos, Chief Transformation Officer, Aidoc. "The BRIDGE guideline will focus on breaking down these barriers, offering a powerful, evidence-based framework that health systems can rely on not just adopt AI but to help scale it across their operations. This will drive both operational efficiency and significantly better outcomes for patients and clinicians alike."

Key Focus Areas of the BRIDGE Guideline

Key areas of focus include standardised validation, seamless integration of tools from different vendors, and a roadmap for scalable AI deployment across hospital systems. BRIDGE will also align with MONAI, an open-source platform co-founded by academia and industry in 2019, including Nvidia, to ensure standardisation and interoperability, the company said.

Aidoc added that BRIDGE will be specifically designed to help developers and healthcare providers consider the practicalities of real-world deployment. The guideline will be developed through close collaboration with healthcare providers, academic partners, and industry leaders.
