After Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Bhavnagar in Gujarat get Airtel 4G services

After the recent launch of 4G services in Ahmedabad, Airtel continues to expand its 4G footprints in Gujarat by launching the services in the cities of Rajkot and Bhavnagar. Besides the aforementioned three cities, Airtel 4G services are also available in Vadodara, Surat and Anand in Gujarat.

Airtel 4G in Gujarat has been rolled out using spectrum band of 1800 MHz (FD-LTE). The services can be accessed via a wide range of devices including smartphones, 4G Mi-Fi, dongles, etc. The 4G services promise uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast download and upload of movies, music, images; superfast browsing, etc.




Commenting on the launch, Murthy Chaganti, Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat, Bharti Airtel Limited said, “We are delighted to launch our 4G services in the city of Rajkot & Bhavnagar. Our valued customers can now upgrade to 4G at no additional cost with our value for money plans for pre-paid & post-paid categories, and enjoy great data benefits. We invite customers to get on to the digital superhighway with Airtel 4G.”

With this launch, Airtel’s 4G services are available in 18 circles across India.

Airtel 4G Offers in Gujarat

As per the new launch, there are few promotional offers announced. The prepaid customers can enjoy 10 GB 4G data for Rs. 249 with any new 4G handset. Within the benefit offered, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed through MyAirtel app. The subscriber can avail a maximum of three recharges within 90 days, on the offer.

For postpaid customers, Airtel’s Infinity plans start from Rs. 1199. It will offer 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming. Using Airtel MyPlan, the customers can design their own plans as well.

There are Airtel 4G prepaid packs for Rs. 1495 that offers free 4G data for 90 days. The pack of Rs. 1499 offers 6GB 4G data upfront and subscribers can get 1GB 4G at Rs. 51 for the next 12 months.

There are monthly plans for 4G devices that start from Rs. 450. The advance rental plans start from Rs. 4500 to avail the device for free of cost.

Recently, Airtel revised its MyAirtel app by adding applications catering the infotainment needs of people, making Airtel app a one stop app for all needs. Under the revised app, the subscribers can also enjoy 2GB cloud backup with the new Airtel Cloud app and free calling with Airtel Dialer.
