ACT Fibernet Started Offering Double Internet At No Extra Costs for New Delhi Users

NEW DELHI: India’s largest non-telco ISP, ACT Fibernet recently offered double internet at the same rates for the residents of Hyderabad and Bangalore and is now expanding the same plans to New Delhi as well. The third largest ISP provider in the country has brought revolutionary 100Mbps speeds to Delhi, recently upgraded its internet broadband plans for customers in Delhi. The leading ISP entered the Delhi market in July 2016 and in a short span of eight months has doubled its FUP at no additional costs to its customers.


ACT Fibernet has doubled its Bronze plan to 100 GB FUP from 50 GB FUP, increased its Silver plan to 150 GB FUP from 75 FUP and Gold plan to 200 GB FUP from 100 GB. Simultaneously the Basic plan has been upgraded to 50 GB FUP download from 30 GB FUP download, all at no extra costs. It is important to note that ACT Fibernet provides Twin load feature i.e. upload at the same speed as downloads and upload FUP is separate from download FUP i.e. a gold plan will give you both upload and download speeds of 75 Mbps and 200 GB of Upload FUP plus 200 GB of Download FUP.

Too much high data user or organization will perhaps remain in broadband.But With Jio entry personal mobile space has become interesting game.Lets see what happens in coming time but one thing is sure Jio will have to maintain speed else data balance don’t matter much for coming time.Maintaing speed will difficult as Jio also must also remain cheap and these two part equation “cheap with speed” is going to be difficult but let’s see what happens if they have to remain in hands of consumer they must keep it else other players are also on line of competition.But one thanks… Read more »

Yes, it is a task for them to provide speed while keeping the rates reasonable.


In my opinion jio will rock in near future mainly bcoz of two reasons, first bcoz it has made as paid service second its the only company which invests more than its competitors on expansion so we can hope for better


In Mumbai we are stuck with bhikari MTNL with their copper wires dating back to prehistoric Shivaji era.

FTTH is provided only to subscribers living inside the MTNL building. Rest of MTNL’s subscribers go suck on sugarcane and make do with slow ADSL or unstable VDSL.

MTNL unfortunately has a policy similar to BSNL for FTTH, they are more than willing to provide FTTH to new or existing broadband users provided that it is not an independent house (not an issue since Mumbai is composed of apartments) and secondly that they should be adequate number of apartment in the apartment complex who want to avail of MTNL’s FTTH service. This second option leaves a huge discretion to the officers stationed at the local exchange, as how many apartments constitute a satisfactory number for them to provide FTTH services. Why make the process so tedious and complicated? I hope BSNL/MTNL has a marketing team. Why should we do marketing for them? That too, when private operators are giving cheaper plans without any hassle. If BSNL/MTNL keeps this mentality, they’ll soon be chasen out of broadband market.
