Wired Internet Service Provider (ISP), ACT Fibernet or Atria Convergence Technologies and e-commerce giant Flipkart today announced their partnership. Under the alliance, ACT Fibernet will be providing broadband plans to smart TV buyers on Flipkart, which is a first-of-its-kind initiative. As part of the same, ACT has launched the ‘smart tv ka smart choice’ plan, under which customers purchasing any smart TV on Flipkart will be able to enjoy exciting offers and discounts on the company's internet broadband plans. ACT Fibernet earlier partnered with Xiaomi to offer free broadband plans to the Mi TV owners, but now, it has inked a deal directly with Flipkart itself.
ACT Fibernet-Flipkart Partnership Details
Under the offer, ACT Fibernet will offer every eligible customer, upon the purchase of a six months subscription with two months of free internet subscription along with 1500GB additional data on top of the existing plan and a free wireless router. The ISP has confirmed that the offer is valid on all Smart TV purchases made on Flipkart starting from September 3, 2018, to November 30, 2018. Of course, this offer is valid only in the 15 cities where ACT Fibernet has its operations.
How to Avail Free Subscription from ACT Fibernet?
Firstly, a user has to purchase a TV by heading over to Flipkart, then the customer is required to provide proof of purchase- Flipkart Order ID, Flipkart Invoice date along with Name, Mobile, Email, Complete Address on ACT website https://www.actcorp.in/flipkart-offer.
After submitting the details, ACT Fibernet will verify the purchase with Flipkart internally and reaches out the customers to confirm the offer. The ISP will also check for feasibility in customer location and proceed with the installation. If the customer is in a feasible location, then ACT Fibernet will provide a new connection within a period of 10 days.
Do make a note that existing customers of ACT Fibernet are also eligible for this offer, but the company will not provide any router. This offer should be redeemed before December 31, 2018. Customer is also free to choose any other offer from ACT Fibernet that is currently available in their respective market
Eligible Broadband Plans for smart tv ka smart choice plan
ACT Fibernet is offering the 'smart tv ka smart choice plan' across all the 15 cities where it has the operations. However, not all broadband plans in 15 cities are eligible for the offer though. In Bengaluru city, the ACT Storm plan priced at Rs 1,159 with 100 Mbps speed and 350GB of FUP along with the ACT Lightning and ACT Incredible are eligible for the offer.
In Hyderabad city, where ACT Fibernet has more than 50% market share, this offer is valid on three plans- ACT A-Max 1050, ACT A-Max 1299 and ACT Incredible. The Rs 1050 plan from ACT Fibernet gives a user 100 Mbps of connection along with 750GB of FUP limit every month. The Rs 1,299 plan offers 150 Mbps speeds and 1000GB FUP, followed by the Rs 1,999 plan with 200 Mbps connection and 1.5TB of FUP. As part of this offer, ACT will be giving 1500GB additional data to the users.
