Acer is rebounding with the Indian mobile market, it has launched two new mobile devices unit, Liquid Jade and Liquid E700 at Rs 16,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. Both the Android smartphones will be up for sale exclusively via e-commerce retailer Snapdeal. The first glimpse of Acer Liquid Jade and E700 was given during Computex in June 2014.
Commenting at the launch, Allen Burnes, Vice President Smart Phones Business, Acer Group, said, “At Acer we are conscious of the world getting faster and demanding more from life in every way.Their dependence on technology is growing and so we want to make their lives simpler and enriching. Therefore, while the Liquid Jade appeals to the elegant, beauty conscious and highly social user, the Liquid E700 is more suited to the upbeat business traveller who demands to remain connected round the clock. Its ‘always on’ capability helps users to multi-task between work and entertainment. All this comes sealed with the promise of quality from the Acer brand name.” he said.
The Acer Liquid E700 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280p. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM, the phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Acer’s custom UI skin on top.
The Liquid E700 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera studded with flash. The triple SIM phone has connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery.
Whereas, the Acer Liquid Jade comes with a 5-inch 720p display along with an OGS panel and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Acer’s custom UI skin on top.
The Liquid Jade sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. The dual SIM smartphone has connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It is backed by a 2100mAh battery.
