Soon after making the global announcement about its new gaming laptop, Acer has introduced the Nitro 5 gaming laptop in the Indian market. The Acer Nitro 5 sports 8th generation Intel Core i7+ hexa-core processors paired with 8GB Intel Optane RAM, 1TB HDD for storage, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX560 graphics card. Acer has also embedded the laptop with Nitro Sense control software which will help the system in monitoring and cooling management of the machine’s CPU and GPU. The laptop boots Windows 10 Home by default. As for the design, the chassis of the Acer Nitro 5 features laser texturing on its top cover and a matte, crimson hinge right above the keyboard.

The screen on the Acer Nitro 5 measures to be 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display and it comes with the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5, Core i7, Core i5+, or Core i7+ processors along with an alternative model sporting the AMD Ryzen 5 processor. The models sporting Intel Core processors come with dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, on the other hand, the AMD variant gets a dedicated Radeon RX560 graphics card. The gaming laptop also has Intel Optane memory which is clocked at 2666MHz and up to 512GB of NVMe PCIe solid-state storage.
The gaming laptop also features a front-facing HD Web camera, and speakers powered by Dolby Atmos Premium and Acer TrueHarmony audio technology. Connectivity options include USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0, an Intel Wireless-AC 9560 2×2 802.11ac, and Gigabit Ethernet.
