Laptop and PC Maker Acer toady unveiled the new smartphone dubbed as Acer Liquid Ferrari the special edition at special price of Rs 29,999. The device is a beautiful bright red handset with an eye catching design.It also has a Ferrari logo on the back.
This phone is based on Android 2.1 operating system and runs on under clocked 768 MHz Qualcomm snapdragon 8250 processor. It has 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and geo tagging feature.
The Acer Liquid E Ferrari offers the front as large 3.5 inch resolution capacitive touch screen with 800 x 480 resolution whereas the back sports the legendary Scuderia Ferrari shield with details in carbon fiber. The phone has 256 MB Random Access Memory.
The smartphone comes preinstalled with the Acer Media Player, images, Ferrari ring tones, and Ferrari wallpapers. The Ferrari wallpaper lights up the 5 page home page that completely immerse the world of formula 1.
It also has the connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Elite Bluetooth Head set, 3.5 audio jack, HSDPA / HSUPA and GPS. The feature Bluetooth Head set regulates volume automatically with Ferrari videos, ringtones and images and able to cancels echoes.
Acer collaborated with sports car-maker Ferrari to design the smartphone. The device comes with a shiny Ferrari F1 red finish, the smart phone includes exclusive content, including videos, wallpapers, and specific ringtones that allows you to personalize your phone with the inimitable sweet music of the Ferrari engine.
Other subtle tweaks such as designing the microphone to look like an air intake inlet ensure the handset stands out in a crowd and provides a stronger sense of belonging to all Ferrari fans.
Acer India chief marketing officer S Rajendran said "the new range of Acer smartphones has been rolled out to meet the increasing consumer demand to access mobile Internet in style, anytime and anywhere. In order to encash the festive mood in India, the phone will be available at Rs 29,999 till Diwali and later on, the price may be revised."
