Oppo A9 is the latest mid-range smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to launch in India. Priced at Rs 15,490, the Oppo A9 offers a waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras, powerful MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, 128GB of internal storage and a beefy 4020mAh battery. Oppo also confirmed that the Oppo A9 would have some dedicated gaming features and it will run ColorOS 6 out of the box based on Android 9 Pie. Oppo will be selling A9 across offline and online stores starting July 20. The phone will compete with the likes of Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A30 and the recently launched Realme X. But on the specifications side, the phone lags behind the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme X since the company will be selling it in the offline market as well.

Oppo has launched the A9 in only one variant at the moment, but in the future, we might see other variants making into the Indian market. Yes, the Oppo A9 has a Micro USB port and not the USB Type-C port like the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme X.
