D2h Introduces Long Term Plans at Affordable Prices to Save Deactive Subscribers

In the haphazard movement of subscribers from Cable TV services and from DTH operator to others, all the companies are looking towards gaining a massive share of the pie after the Trai tariff regime. While growth is a big concern for these companies, subscriber retention is also equally important. There have been a lot of deactive subscribers for these DTH providers and to convert them into paying customers, the DTH operators are offering customised long term offers. We have recently seen the rollout of a similar plan from D2h for the deactive subscribers in the south region for whom, the operator has introduced South Indian language plans and sent out SMS to them informing about the same.

On Thursday, D2h sent SMS to its South Indian customers about the announcement of the six-month Sentamizh Recharge offer for Rs 1,299 for Kerala and Tamil “deactive” customers. Which means that subscribers who had stopped recharging their D2h accounts, will be able to get this Tamil pack directly with a 6-month subscription period. Subscribers in the Tamil and Kerala region received the SMS from D2h, and they also noted that it is a limited time-period offer as per the information relayed by the service provider.
