D2h Introduces Long Term Plans at Affordable Prices to Save Deactive Subscribers

In the haphazard movement of subscribers from Cable TV services and from DTH operator to others, all the companies are looking towards gaining a massive share of the pie after the Trai tariff regime. While growth is a big concern for these companies, subscriber retention is also equally important. There have been a lot of deactive subscribers for these DTH providers and to convert them into paying customers, the DTH operators are offering customised long term offers. We have recently seen the rollout of a similar plan from D2h for the deactive subscribers in the south region for whom, the operator has introduced South Indian language plans and sent out SMS to them informing about the same.

New Six-Month Tamil Pack for Rs 1,299

On Thursday, D2h sent SMS to its South Indian customers about the announcement of the six-month Sentamizh Recharge offer for Rs 1,299 for Kerala and Tamil "deactive" customers. Which means that subscribers who had stopped recharging their D2h accounts, will be able to get this Tamil pack directly with a 6-month subscription period. Subscribers in the Tamil and Kerala region received the SMS from D2h, and they also noted that it is a limited time-period offer as per the information relayed by the service provider. It is worth noting that D2h also has other South India plans in its portfolio like New South Gold, New South Maxi, New South Gold HD and many more.

D2h had also populated its plan roster last month with plans like Silver HD Combo which has a rental of Rs 188 and comes with channels ranging across genres like infotainment, music, News and more. There is also the Gold HD Combo which comes with a price tag of Rs 318. The Diamonds Kids HD Combo is a slightly pricy offering from D2h for Rs 405. The Diamond HD Combo which is not oriented with Kids channels is available for D2h subscribers at Rs 455. There is also a Diamond Sports HD Combo which also combines the sports channels along with the normal channels of the Gold Combo for Rs 351. Some of the more premium offerings in the D2h roster include the Platinum HD Combo which will set back the subscribers by Rs 586 per month.

D2h Long Term Recharge Plan Offering Up to Five Months of Free Service

D2h is one of the few DTH service providers in the industry right now which is shipping a massive long-term recharge (LTR) offer for its subscribers. Unlike other operators which are merely offering long term plans for a year, D2h is providing up to 7 seven options with increasing benefits for the subscribers. On a three month subscription, D2h will give seven free days, 15 days on six-month subscription, 30 days on 11-month subscription, 60 days on 22 months of subscription, 90 days on 33 months of subscription, 120 days on 44 months of subscription and 150 days on 55 months of subscription as well.
