Google Photos Get ‘Crop & Adjust’ Feature to Scan Documents Better

An interesting new feature has come to Google Photos. The company has announced that Google Photos for Android is now receiving a new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature to edit pictures. The ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is basically for scanning documents. To recall, at the Google I/O Developers meet last year, Google announced Suggested Actions feature and the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is an extension of the Suggested Actions. As the name suggests, the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature lets users cut out the unnecessary parts of a photo mostly documents. The ‘Crop & adjust’ feature also gives suggestions of the improve the photo quality of documents like receipts, but also allows to adjust colours and remove the background with the help of integrated artificial intelligence.

How ‘Crop & Adjust’ Feature Works on Google Photos

It is worth noting that the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is currently being rolled out to the Google Photos for Android and will come to all users in a phased manner. This means that some may have already got the feature, but others who haven’t got the feature will need to wait a little longer to get their hands on the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature.

In the tweet, the company mentioned that the ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is coming to Google Photos which will allow users to crop pictures of documents with just a single tap. The company said that the feature is now rolling out to Google photos for Android and will come to all users very soon.
