Reliance Jio Takes the Tariff War to a New Level by Offering 5GB Data Per Day With the Rs 799 Plan, New Plans are Now Live

As promised, Reliance Jio has made the new tariff plans live for its 160 million subscribers across the country. While Jio announced details of eight plans a few days ago, there are some plans which it didn't mention such as the Rs 509 and Rs 799 tariff plans. So, Jio's tariff plans now start at a mere Rs 19 and go all the way up to Rs 9,999. The entry-level Rs 19 plan gives benefits for one day, while the Rs 9,999 plan offers benefits for 365 days. Let's take a close look at Reliance Jio tariff plans.

Sachet Packs

Jio's entry-level plans are called as Sachet plans. Under this product, Jio has three plans of Rs 19, Rs 52, and Rs 98. The Rs 19 is valid for one day, the Rs 52 is valid for seven days, and the Rs 98 plan is valid for 14 days. All the three plans offer 0.15MB data per day, subscription to Jio apps, and unlimited voice calls. The Rs 19 plan gives 20 SMS, the Rs 52 plan offers 70 SMS, and lastly, the Rs 94 plan offers 140 SMS for the validity period.

1GB/Day Packs

Last week, Jio announced a few new plans of Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399, and Rs 449. All these plans offer 1GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, Jio apps subscription, and unlimited voice calls for the entire validity period. The base Rs 149 plan is valid for 28 days, the Rs 349 plan is valid for 70 days, the Rs 399 plan is valid for 84 days, and the Rs 449 tariff plan gives benefits for 91 days.

1.5GB/Day Packs

And the new plans introduced by Jio are Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448, and Rs 498. These plans also offer the same unlimited voice calls, Jio apps subscription, 100 SMS per day, and 1.5GB data per day for the validity period. The Rs 198 tariff plan gives benefits for 28 days, the Rs 398 plan for 70 days, Rs 448 plans for 84 days, and the Rs 498 plan is valid for 91 days from the date of recharge.

2GB/Day Packs

The Mukesh Ambani-led telco recently introduced a Rs 299 tariff plan of Rs 299 that offers 2GB data per day for 28 days. This essentially offers 56GB at just Rs 299. And it also gives unlimited voice calls without any FUP, 100 SMS per day, and a free subscription to Jio apps.

3GB/Day Packs

Reliance Jio's popular Rs 509 tariff plan now offers insane 3GB data per day, which takes the total offering to 84GB. But the validity of the plan is decreased to 28 days from the previous 49 days.

5GB/Data Packs

Another change Jio introduced today is to the Rs 799 tariff plan as it now offers 5GB data per day, which is up from the earlier 3GB data per day offering. The benefits are valid for 28 days from the date of recharge.

Long-Term Packs

Under the Long Term Packs, Jio again has four plans of Rs 999, Rs 1,999, Rs 4,999, and Rs 9,999. The Rs 999 plan gives 60GB 4G data for 90 days, the Rs 1,999 pack offers 125GB data for 180 days, the Rs 4,999 plan provides 350GB data for 360 days, and the Rs 9,999 pack gives 750GB data for 365 days.

All the Jio tariff plans give an after FUP speed of 64 Kbps, meaning the data is unlimited. And all the plans offer unlimited voice calls without any FUP and subscription to Jio apps for the validity period. As stated, the new plans are already official, meaning you can now recharge with the new plans.
