Google is trying to declutter its search engine by collaborating with a lyric licensing service, LyricFind. This partnership will result in a speedy search for lyrics. It means that from now on Google will display the entire song lyric in the search result. Google will be adding Lyrics from more than 4,000 publishers to its search engine and Play Music. The feature is now live in most of the countries including India.

Google and LyricsFind

When a user types any song name with the words lyrics attached to it, Google search result will display lyrics right there. Users are no more required to click on dedicated lyrics website links in order to fetch full lyrics.

The LyricFind is a Toronto-based lyric licensing company that works for known music publishers such as Universal Music Publishing Group, Sony/ATV, Warner/Chappell Music Publishing and Kobalt.

Commenting on the partnership with Google, LyricFind CEO Darryl Ballantyne said,"We’re happy to expand the depth and quality of lyrics available on Google’s services. We’re working together to make lyrics available to a larger audience in a faster and more efficient way."
