In a statement given to Reuters, the company said it has plans to start selling VR handsets across India soon.LeEco 3D Helmet India

LeEco debuted in India a few days ago and it is creating enough buzz since the launch of Le Max and Le 1s smartphones. LeEco’s VR headsets are not going to be a mystery as the company already has them on sale in China, named “Le 3D Helmet”. The headset features a 5.5-inch, 2K resolution display with 70 degrees field of view. The pricing of Le 3D Helmet has not been disclosed for the Indian market yet.

The report further states that Atul Jain, chief operating officer of LeEco India, said that the company is not going to limit its product range to smartphones, but is also going to launch Smart TVs too. Furthermore, LeEco is also planning to come with a Netflix-like streaming service for the Indian market. As we all know that Netflix finally set its foot in India last month, which could be a reason why we might see more and more such services entering India gradually. The report also suggests that LeEco has already roped in ErosNow and YuppTV for procurement of online content and it is underway of getting more entertainment companies onboard.

It would be interesting to see how LeEco manages to impress Indian users with its wide array of products and service. Would you be interested in giving a shot to products and services by LeEco? Let us know through the comment section.
