Xolo has launched a new smartphone in the entry-level price category for Android smartphones; the Xolo One. Don’t mistake it for an Android One device, it is just a usual Android smartphone. Xolo One in fact, runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and comes equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor from MediaTek clocked at a modest 1.3GHz. The most attractive thing about this smartphone is that, Xolo is already promising an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade in the future.
The Xolo One comes with a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera with an LED flash and 1080p video recording. The front-facing VGA camera is compatible with operator video calls, unlike many smartphones these days. Internal storage stands at 8GB along with a microSD slot for storage expansion. It is powered by a 1700mAh battery and comes with usual bunch of connectivity features like dual-SIM card slot (3G + 2G), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and A-GPS. The back cover of the Xolo One features a faux-leather finish with a stitched look, just like the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
