Nexus lineup is due for next iteration and it has been a while since any of the next generation Nexus devices surfaced on the internet. As per the rumor mill Google plans to chuck the Nexus name for the Nexus 6 phone and instead call it something else. Nexus 6 has not been spotted on the American FCC yet which generally acts as a source for information about the upcoming devices.
As per reports, the next iteration of the Nexus tablet lineup, the Nexus 9 will be announced officially in the upcoming weeks. The device in the report was spotted with a code name OP82100 and it also shed some light on the innards of the tablet.
Nexus 9 will sport Bluetooth and NFC modules along with the standard WiFi. This device will be fitted with an 8.9 inch display unit set at a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The computing side will be graced by a 64 bit NVidia Tegra K1 glued with a whopping 3GB of RAM. The Nexus 9 will have a 16-Megapixel primary camera. The odds are that this tablet will run the final version of the Android L. Nexus 9 is expected to be announced somewhere in the mid of October.
