Qualcomm preps up Snapdragon 210 Chipset, bringing 4G LTE to Budget Smartphones

Qualcomm Technologies which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated and is famous for its Mobile Chipsets. Qualcomm has been the industry leader and most sought after choice when it comes to choosing a Computing platform for the phones. They had recently been in the news after releasing the new lineup of extremely powerful 64 bit chipsets. The new range of Octa Core processors bundled with an extremely capable Graphic Processing unit is expected to take the precedence in the blooming Smartphone market.

They have further released a new edition to the Snapdragon entry level Snapdragon 200 chipset. The Snapdragon 210 will offer multimode 3G/4G LTE and also LTE Dual sim for entry level phones.




QTI also announced 28 nm transceivers which will be fine-tuned to support LTE and LTE Advanced devices in the mid-tier and entry level devices. Qualcomm is also prepping its RF360TM front end solutions which will aid device makers to customize LTE phones easily according to the global and regional standards.
This move from QUALCOMM will give the LTE the much needed boost and it won’t be a surprise if in the next year we start seeing budget phones with 4G LTE capability.

The new lineup of processor will spike up the performance of all the Entry level and Mid-Tier phones spiking up the competition by a great deal. The good thing is that Qualcomm are also coming up with newer Graphic Processing Units that will herald the High End Graphic intense Gaming and Applications for entry level and low level handsets. ``
