Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 Live Updates

Samsung has introduced its new AI Glasses, developed with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. The smart glasses use Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor and have a lightweight design with an integrated hinge for better comfort during extended use.

Samsung says the glasses offer up to 9 hours of battery life on a single charge, and the charging case provides up to seven extra recharges. The company has not yet announced the official pricing or availability of the AI Glasses.

Samsung brings the most powerful Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, with a 47mm dial, 2GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage. The new rugged smartwatch has an 800mAh battery on board with charging support and a 5000-nit display.
The T5000 smartwatch is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset and includes Samsung Health features such as Vitals, heart rate monitoring, running coach, sleep tracking, and more. The smartwatch is certified for IP69K, 10ATM, and MIL-STD-810H with EN13319 rating, making it a good choice for deep water diving activities.

Samsung officially launches its next-generation Galaxy Watch 9 series in 40MM and 44MM sizes with Cream Graphite and Silver Graphite colors.

Samsung has unveiled its latest foldable smartphone lineup at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, introducing the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy Card in partnership with Visa and Barclays in the U.S. Samsung offers attractive cashback rewards like 5% on eligible purchases made directly from Samsung, 3% cash back on payments made through the Samsung Wallet, and 2% on eligible streaming service purchases. Samsung also introduced a digital coin called the “StableCoin” to help with digital transactions.

Samsung launched its new Galaxy Z Flip 8, offering a full-screen experience on the cover display. You can open applications on the cover display without unfolding the phone.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 has slimmer bezels on the inside and the cover display. It comes with a brighter display, 2600 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup placed over the cover display with a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide angle sensor. It also has a 10MP selfie shooter. The new Galaxy Flip 8 comes with a 4300mAh battery onboard and two memory configurations: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.

The new Galaxy Z Flip 8 comes in four colours: Pink, Graphite, Cream, and Mint. The flip phone will be available from August 7, 2026.

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a starting price of $1,899. The latest flagship foldable is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. It features Samsung's new Flex Titanium display paired with an Armor Hinge for a nearly crease-less folding experience.
The device packs a 4,800mAh silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. Additional variants include 12GB+512GB and 12GB+256GB. For photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 sports a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 10MP front-facing camera. It will be offered in Lavender, Graphite, Cream, and Pistachio colors and goes on sale starting August 7, 2026.

Samsung has officially unveiled its next-generation flagship foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, starting at $2,099. The premium foldable is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor.

It features Samsung's new Armor FlexHinge for improved durability and a refined folding experience. The device sports a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. Both the inner and cover displays have 10MP selfie cameras.

The Galaxy Z Fold Ultra is backed by a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery.

It is available in 16GB+1TB, 12GB+512GB, and 12GB+256GB storage configurations. Samsung offers the device in four color options, with sales starting on August 7, 2026.
