The sub-Rs. 15,000 segment in India is the most competitive price bracket with several brands such as Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo, Coolpad fighting for the top spot. Last month, almost every of brand mentioned above launched at least one smartphone in the country, and in the said price bracket itself.

With the constant increase in the smartphone models, it has become a hassle for customers out there to choose a smartphone. In this article, we're listing out top five smartphones under Rs. 15,000 with VoLTE support to purchase in India in October 2017.

1) Xiaomi Mi A1

Xiaomi's Mi A1 is currently the best smartphone under Rs. 15,000. Several Xiaomi fans have been asking the company a pure stock Android smartphone, and the brand listened to them. The Mi A1 runs pure stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat with a promised upgrade to Android Oreo and Android P.

Lenovo's comeback with the K8 Note in August 2017 has been a successful one, at least for now. The K8 Note is the best smartphone in the Lenovo K series, after the Lenovo K3 Note that was released two years ago.

With the K8 Note, Lenovo moved to stock Android, much like its child brand, Motorola. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, dual camera setup at the back, powerful MediaTek Helio X23 chipset, and a large 4000mAh battery. The K8 Note is available in two variants with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively.

3) Coolpad Cool Play 6

Coolpad has been a major player in the Indian market, and more importantly, the Chinese brand sets new trends in the country. The Cool Play 6 is the only smartphone that offers 6GB of RAM under Rs. 15,000. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the Cool Play 6 is an Amazon exclusive smartphone.

The device sports metal body, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset. It comes with a large 4000mAh battery with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. This Android Nougat laden smartphone also offers dual 13MP cameras at the back, along with an 8MP front-facing camera.

4) Motorola Moto G5 Plus

Even though the Moto G5 Plus has a successor in the form of Moto G5S Plus, the G5 Plus is still a considerable option under Rs. 15,000 because Motorola did not tweak the camera app in the Moto G5S Plus.

The Moto G5 Plus is available at Rs. 14,999, and most of the time this festive season, the device price goes down to Rs. 12,999. The Moto G5 Plus offers the best rear camera along with stable all-round performance, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The device boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

5) 10.or G

Well, a new brand is creating waves in the Indian market. 10.or (pronounced as Tenor) is the only brand which is able to compete with Xiaomi in the Indian market and in its own game. The 10.or G smartphone is a real competitor to the Redmi Note 4, and in fact, it replaced the Redmi Note 4 on our list.

The 10.or G smartphone boots Android Nougat with a promised upgrade to Android Oreo by the end of 2017. Sweet, isn't it? The phone has a 5.5-inch display, dual rear camera setup, Snapdragon 626 SoC, 3GB/4GB RAM variants, up to 64GB internal storage, and a decent 4000mAh battery.
