Micromax Canvas HD has a resolution of 1280x720p with a ppi of 294. But,

Lava International XOLO Q800 has only 540 x 960p with a ppi of 245.

So its not a competitor at all for Canvas HD.

Q800 is a good phone, its better than Canvas HD in the price range. I have bought one and very happy with the experience. You can’t compare a Rs 11500 phone with a 15k phone. Q800 is better than canvas hd in this price range and screen size. If you want to spend 15k then have to look at Canvas Hd and other phones. Under 12k Q800 is the best phone currently available in the market right now with Quad core processor and IPS screen.
