For the second time in a row 3G auction has been delayed,the auction which was originally scheduled to start from January 16 2009 has been delayed due to a proposal by the Finance ministry to double the base price still it’s waiting for the approval from cabinet and a further delay is possible.
Potential bidders will now need to submit their applications from January 09 till January 15. DoT will announce ownership details of applicants on January 16 and owner compliance certificate will be given on January 20.Pre-qualified bidders will be shortlisted on January 22 and mock auction will take place on January 27-28.
