Videocon Makes Tweeting Easier For Its CustomersNow, Videocon Customers can now stay updated with twitter. Videocon Mobile Services, one of the newest telecom service providers, signed an agreement with Twitter.

With this agreement, Videocon customers can now receive text messages from people they opt to follow via SMS and send text messages to a short code (53000) to Tweet or message someone directly on Twitter.




With this, Videocon customers will also be able to access links included in SMS Tweets. To date, Twitter services work either on the web or a WAP site.New Twitter users can also sign up via SMS.The twittering community across the globe has been gaining popularity at a fast pace.

In fact in India, the community has been growing so fast that it is now challenging to become one of the most popular countries for twittering in the world.The new service is compatible with all handsets and offers fast mobile access to one of the most popular social media platforms worldwide.

What makes this interesting is that to enjoy this service you need not pay any monthly rental. Normal SMS charges apply.

• Follow the instructions to link mobile with Twitter account

You can also configure Mobile tweeting via your twitter web account, Log into your account> go to settings option > then select Mobile> fill up the details by selecting India, enter your mobile number and select Videocon as your operator.  Now, after finishing all the formalities in configuring, you can now send/receive tweets via sms!
