..just too good…! sanjayji, why is UK not included ? any particular reasons?

Yes I also missing UK , MTNL get best deal on ILD/ISD call routing for 26 countries so they decided to transfer the extra benefits to the subscribers for ISD calling.

    Sanjay Bafna :
@PDNair If you are in Home network than charges will be as Home Network and If you are in Roam Network than charges will be as Roam Network. The above ISD rates are also applicable in Home Network only.
If any one stay at the boundary of telecom circle than the problem of Home and Roam will occurred in any network, Its normal thing. Just for example I have one Airtel Mumbai prepaid connection and when I visits United Services Club (US Club) in Neavy Nagar which is in South Mumbai, The network comes from Raigad of Maharashtra circle.

But Airtel, Aircel Tata, Reliance CDMA & GSM, MTS does not take roaming charges between Mumbai- Maharashtra & Goa circle same home tariffs are charged through out the state….
Now BSNL Maharashtra also not taking roaming from 1 February 2010 while in MTNL Mumbai Network, same home network tariffs are applied for Ex Any Sms pack or BSNL to BSNL 20ps/min is activated then same charges taken from MTNL Mumbai network also…

But MTNL is cheating to the people of Mumbai they just give MTNL & BSNL network number at 1ps/sec from roaming Bsnl Maharashtra network but other operator calling is at Rs.1.50/min..
But From 1 February 2010 there is an agreement between BSNL-MTNL that to get benefits to there own customers free roaming between MTNL Mumbai & BSNL Maharashtra, as per that BSNL Maharashtra already implemented that feature and giving same home rate plan while in Mtnl Mumbai I m personally using it But Mtnl giving only Bsnl& Mtnl at 1ps/sec as per plan but other at Rs.1.50/min from Bsnl Maharashtra network..
I also have Mtnl card they were also giving all calls at 1ps/sec as per plan selected from 1 February to 7 February 2010 while in BSNL Maharashtra network but from 8th February 2010 they are now giving only BSNL & MTNL numbers at 1ps/sec and other operator at Rs.1.50/min.. So why first 7 days of February all calls were as per plan while in Bsnl Maharshtra nw then from 8th February other calls changed from 1ps/sec to Rs.1.50min why?? I think there must be pressure from north i.e Delhi MTNL that don’t combined Mumbai- Maharashtra.. Bcoz north are jealous to see Mumbai in Maharashtra state…..

But BSNL Maharshtra is Very nice they now treat Mtnl Mumbai as home circle for Maharashtra circle users so better to use BSNL Sims in Mumbai now as same home plans & schemes are applied while in Mumbai MTNL network…

@Abhijit I Reply many time on the same issue but it seems that you dont want to understand the real things so you commenting the same thing again and again without any fact.
1.Almost all other operator having their own network in Maharashtra circle so they can offer the same rates (same rates is applicable only on OWN Network roaming),While MTNL depends on BSNL for Roaming and if BSNL didn’t gave Best call routing charges than MTNL wont able to reduce that.

2.Earlier you said all operator reduce roaming charges but that is NOT TRUE same problem is also with Mumbai’s oldest operator LOOP/BPL Mobile.

3.MTNL clearly mention the Maharashtra roaming tariff on its website and also inform their customers by SMS that Local Tariff is applicable only on BSNL and MTNL numbers while roaming. But you said its CHEATING how?? The use of this WORD is baseless because operator clearly disclose its tariff via website/SMS and Call center.

4.BSNL is biggies so they can offer anything including FREE INCOMING CALLS while roaming but MTNL not if its roaming partner not allow him. However MTNL giving the best deal on 3G with Per second tariff, Free Upgrade to 3G, Hyper TalkTime on Prepaid good STVs and now also on ISD.
5.Customer is free to choose any operator as their own needs so choose the operator as your own requirement.

@ Sanjay Bafna.Okk Boss… I just wanted to clarify that before declaring Maharashtra roaming tariff on website, they were charging all MTNL & BSNL nw numbers at 1ps/2sec and other operators local & std numbers at 1ps/sec while in Maharashtra BSNL network i.e(same Mumbai MTNL network tariff in BSNL Maharashtra network) till 7th February 2010..So I told many of friends & relatives to go with MTNL so they can enjoy same rate while they are in Pune, Nashik area.. Many friends took new MTNL connection and they also enjoyed MTNL & BSNL nw numbers at 1ps/2sec, and other operators local & std numbers at 1ps/sec while in Maharashtra BSNL network but suddenly from 8th Febuary 2010 only MTNL, BSNL numbers at 1ps/sec and other Rs.1.50/min. then after that they updated website around 15 febuary 2010.. So Then first 7 days in February why they provided Same home tariff while in Maharashtra BSNL nw??

And if you looked at my previous post I never mentioned that LOOP Mobile, Vodafone & IDEA are giving home network tariffs or same plan while in Maharashtra circle…
