Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Motorola, Inc. today announced the launch of slim, pocket-able and "life proof" Android 2.1 (Éclair) based 3G smartphone Motorola DEFY in Indian market for Rs.18990.

Motorola DEFY is a slim and pocket-able smartphone that comes equipped with a 3.7” high-resolution, scratch-resistant touch screen display that provides edge-to-edge views of your favorite websites, photos and videos.




The device is scratch and water resistant as well as dust proof, protecting you from life's little challenges such as spilling liquids, a sudden rain shower or a drop in the sand. DEFY also features CrystalTalk PLUS to vanquish noisy environments.

Motorola DEFY is designed to handle everything that life throws your way. With all the features consumers expect in a smartphone, It is a quad-band GSM phone that will support 3G networks with RF of WCDMA-UMTS 850/1700/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (Category 7/8).
