Those people who are the hard core fan of Samsung(even me), Do you know the market of Samsung some years back in 2004.No body know about samsung mobiles and they have poor service networks at that time for mobile devices. But later since they adopt Android OS and the introduction of Galaxy series phones make them a huge hit. So don’t worry about Micromax they will come up with good and affordable smartphones to India.

Even if you buy a high end phone for 35000rs within 6months that become outdated. So I think its better to go for budget smart phone of Micromax A110,A116 etc

I had a chance to use Canvas 110 for about 30mins, I was really impressed with its super smooth performance, never expected that from micromax, more over its just 9.5k!!
Canvas A110 is selling at a rate of 5400 units per day in India.

I’m sure they will outnumber samsung smart phones in terms of sales this year.Slowly this company also moving to premium smartphone segment (just like LG & Motorola) & leaving the budget segment(< 6k range) All the budget models released this month are outdated.Time for a new player to rise!!

I use canvas 2 for the past two months, I love this phone very much, only draw back is, it is little big to hold in the hands other than that this phone is gorgeous purchase for any age category. There is no doubt in the canvas, a116 will be a huge hit where value for money is a main Centre of focus for people in India. At the same people who have purchased the canvas 2 will be disappointed they have missed the little higher specification phone, but still micro max can stastify there customer by giving jelly bean upgrade.

Micromax always offers value for money.the only problem is that they have no strong support service(customer care, service centre, email, social network presence etc). Their aim is to be the leader in India in Smart Phone category and heard that they produce 30 smartphone this year.It is only not.Their Canvas 2 is selling hot across India as 5500 units/day. It is very surprising!!
Because,People of India is not only price concious but they want good after sale support services too. So,why are they buying so many Micromax phone I can not understand. Is it only for cheap price with lots of features or anything else?

I know that dude. Here in Kolkata, also have some numbers of service centre.but,is their service is too good like Samsung and Nokia? I heard that if they take any serious case of mobile, they send it to factory and give return >30 days..do you know this?

Durability of handsets are very poor no matter how much attractive they appear to be. Anyone who has used MMX knows this very well. Service & customer communication response is very bad (rather worst!) & not comparable to reputed leading brands. You dont get any software upgrades & there is no PC Sync software/driver available even for their smartest phones. Do your own research before u decide anything.

These companies Like Micromax & Karbonn, Lava ….etc are all Chinese dump companies. They are like use & throw products. Only purchase, no service after the sales. The service provided by these companies is most pathetic in the world.

    Micromax rocks

I still use my Micromax phone, alongside iOS devices

I will buy one to be used as my second phone, e mailing and social networking device

I read another report which stated Micromax phablet is the largest selling phablet in India beating Samsung’s Note and Note II. Kudos to Micromax

I understand Micromax plans to launch 30 new smart phones in 2013

I guess in 2013 Micromax would race ahead of Samsung in India in premium phones at affordable price
