Few notable difference are :
1. Processor
Msi : 1.2GHZ
A1 : 1GHZ
2. DONGLE SUPPORT
MSI : Mini USB port so it can’t support data card.
A1 : Full USB & dongle support.
3. GPS
MSI : Needs data connection.
A1 : Offline GPS. Works without internet connection.
4. Internal memory
MSI : 4GB
A1: 8GB…. Not sure it may be 2GB also.
Both support micro SD.
And A1 comes with better screen resolution & battery backup.

Lenovo seems to have done the right thing by launching separate tablets for business users [ThinkPad] and for entertainment purposes [IdeaPad K1 and A1] – though all three models have Office Editors. I saw the comparison from their web site
The ThinkPad models are priced exactly like Apple iPad 2 and the IdeaPad K1 is priced cheaper [IdeaPad K1 32 GB with 3G is about Rs 8,000 cheaper compared to ThinkPad of similar capacity]
They seem to have preloaded many useful and relevant applications with each of the models – which I think is the differentiator
I had a look at the keyboard accessory for ThinkPad tablet [with case] – looks to be handy and productive for the business user. I am not sure if the price of the Tablet is inclusive or exclusive of this accessory
With these the ThinkPad tablet looks tempting to buy for business use

Ideapad A1 is best go for it. After sales service will be easy to get Lenovo than MSI. Ideapad A1 offline GPS which makes it unique & it’s a better recognized brand.
