Aditya Birla Group’s telecom venture IDEA Cellular had launched three new GPRS Packs for its prepaid customers in Kolkata and West Bengal circle to enjoy GPRS service seamlessly at affordable price.
The three voucher come with a denominations of Rs 5 (Daily Auto-renewal Basis), Rs.16 and Rs 46 respectively.
The Rs.5 voucher will let a customer to browse/download Internet up-to 20MB and it will last till midnight. This voucher has auto-renewal facility. Rs 16 voucher comes with a bundled data usage of 500 MB for a period of 3 days whereas Rs 46 voucher allows a customer to surf/download Internet up-to 20 MB/day for a period of 30 days. Any usage after bundled data-cap will cost 2p/KB (approx Rs.20/MB).

Idea redefined its 98 gprs pack for kolkata and bengal circle. Now it is provide 6GB uses without any daily fair uses policy..speed is excellent. almost all pages are open with in a second. I have checked with daily 5 pack..

It is very surprising that Idea has launches Two recharge Voucher of same value. They Introduced another Voucher of Rs.46 which enables your gprs service only. I tried to recharge through Rs.46 voucher to apply call rates @ 1p/2sec but after recharge I found that the voucher only provides 20 MB free usage of GPRS service for 30 days.
My question is that, how can they launch two different vouchers of same Value? And if they have changed their value vouchers somehow then why dont the dealers gets the updated details of the value packs available! is this a new way to cheat Customers?

i am using idea and airtel for last 4 years.and i m victom of both .idea starts any service without my consent and custmar cear has no satisfactory answer.on the other hand their plans r not affordable.
Airtel is another predator opreator.last year in decmber they brought up an offer in which i could use 75 mb data each night but i used just 20 mb and they deduct 180rs.custmer care means cust se mar(die form suffering).they didn’t have any answer.i have dnd dispite that airtel relentlessly make at least 1 promotional call.i am waiting for mnp then i will switch on other.

can u explain me how docomo is using cdma technology??bcos as per my knowledge gsm uses EDGE technology to provide good speeds(236kbps practical) and cdma uses 1x(153kbps) and EVDO(3.1mbps)technology.

please dont tell airtel, idea and vodofone are not bad, new player are using airtel,idea,vodafone tovers infracture, how many know about this, and tataindicom is cdma technology, with high speed gprs, as the same cdma technology is using in gsm infrastructure with as cdma gprs speed in gsm, that y docomo have high gprs speed, old player have old technology instrument, new player have new technology instrument dont blame, why u guys are blaming like this

gprs(EDGE) speed depend on handset type like e.g nokia N70 and nokia 5800. nokia N70 have Class 10 edge and nokia 5800 have Class 32 edge..when i use vodafone gprs on nokia N70 to pc i got speed 15 to 25 kbps(120Kbps to 200Kpps) and when on nokia 5800 i got speed 30 to 35 kbps(240Kbps to 280Kbps)

docomo s superb & idea should see its competators n ten release packs. and even ter network quality is very poor in kolkata & ROB and in karnataka too
