I activated Rs-5 gprs pack on 23/11/11 at 12:40 am. Used only some kbs & last flash sms showed I had 49.28 MB left as on 23/11/11 at 12:50 am which had a validity till 11:59 pm of 23/11/11.
Today(23/11/11) morning when I browsed for sometime, I noticed that nearly Re-1 has been deducted from my a/c & I had no active pack subscription!
What the heck?

And ideas 3G paper voucher isn’t available anywhere …Even IDEA outlets don’t know about these 3G packs and they are not interested to bring them too. Why not allow it on easy Recharge??

It seems that ideacellular comes on line in TelecomTalk. I have been airing my grievances in 93000, fb, and twitte, of coueaw customer care @. But no positive response so far. Well would like to get a token number. Hope to get attention over here !

If we observe the above table of Idea subscriber base we will find that maximum subscribers of Maharashtra & MP are opted Idea where BSNL not completed their network coverage speedily due to ITI govt company. Almost work of network expansion was blocked by ITI & finally result in loss of subscribers in both state where ITI got tender to complete their expansion work.
Other side in Kerala, Karnataka etc state got pvt vendors for their network expansion work. This is the route cause for loosing thier subscribers even in MTNL Mumbai & Delhi too.

Very bad network covrege also citys but in villages where idea towers there are network problums only 2 or 3 bars.
Internet connectivity also poor in 2G and 3G network

I am Idea-Delhi Customer and regularly roam in UP(W) and Haryana Circle. I never faced any problem related to GPRS in roaming and Home circle as well.

that fine.. please ensure.. first are u spoken with customercare about slow GPRS.. r u mobile is not support to that much speed.. u r mobile will can get speed through other telecom services.. but y not idea.. i think u r mobile have a locked with other company.. thats y u r not getting speed..
please make sure.. when u r moving to roaming.. r u spoken with customer care or any idea executive.. please do first.. it is not company fault.. about GPRS.. they updating.. if they are giving gprs setting for all over india.. but idea gprs have lot of ip address and varies on states.. and lot of servers with ip.. but airtel and reliance have 4 servers with different ip address.. but it connect to one ip..

ideas gprs service is shockingly poor in mumbai. one cannot use the gprs pack outside mumbai (can you believe that… which world are they living? fools paradise… every other in the country offers nation wide roaming), speeds are painfully slow, gprs activation takes a long time etc.
roaming between mumbai and maharashtra means i cannot use any std or sms packs in maharashtra, whereas with other operators i can.
i have little complaints regarding their network, but their policies and attitude are suffocating. i hate idea! i am porting out of idea after diwali!
