As we reported earlier, ZOPO has finally made its debut in the Indian smartphone market, with its flagship smartphone — Speed 7. The device has been priced at Rs. 12,999, and will be available in Black and White color options.
The Speed 7 features a 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 ×1080 pixels, and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It sports a 13.2-megapixel of primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and has 16GB of internal storage on-board, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The Speed 7 is a dual-SIM smartphone, with support for connectivity options such as 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery.
ZOPO has collaborated with Snapdeal to exclusively sell its smartphone online in India, and the Speed 7 will be up for sale from the first week of September. Besides, the company has also partnered with ADCOM, which will manage and market ZOPO devices in India. Given the specifications and pricing, ZOPO is going to face stiff competition ahead in India, as there are already many Chinese manufacturers who are providing similar devices at a lower price.
