Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Can Now Be Picked Up in All-New Red Colour Option for Rs 14,999

Xiaomi has launched the Red Edition of Redmi Note 5 Pro in India today. The new colour variant, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is already available for purchase on Mi.com, but it will be soon made available on Flipkart as well. Thankfully, the new variant is available via open sale, but Xiaomi quoted that only limited units are available. So with this new launch, the Redmi Note 5 Pro can be purchased in five colour options- Black, Blue, Gold, Rose Gold and Red. All the five versions are on open sale via Mi.com and soon, the Red Edition will be made available on Flipkart too.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition Price in India

As mentioned above, Xiaomi has launched the Red Edition Note 5 Pro in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The price of the device has been set as Rs 14,999, same as the other colour variants which is a good thing to see from Xiaomi. The 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage can be purchased in four colour options- Gold, Black, Blue and Rose Gold for Rs 16,999. Mi Store states the 6GB RAM Red Edition is currently out of stock, but it's hinting the availability of the variant.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition Specifications and Features

Besides the new paint job, Xiaomi did not make any changes to the specifications of the handset. To recall, the Redmi Note 5 Pro rocks a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display on the front and it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset under the hood. The device comes in two variants with 4GB and 6GB of RAM; Both of the sporting 64GB of onboard storage. There's a hybrid card slot as well for storage expansion.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is the best-selling dual camera smartphone in India. The Note 5 Pro flaunts a primary 12MP Sony sensor on the rear side, which works in tandem with a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front side, Xiaomi has added a 20MP selfie shooter. The device already received Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6 update in India. It's armed with a 4000mAh battery, but lacks fast charging support.

Which Colour Option to Choose?

If you'd ask us on which colour option of the Redmi Note 5 Pro should you choose, it's the newly launched Red Edition without any looking further. As you can see from the images below, the Red Edition looks gorgeous and way better than the other colour options. And Xiaomi has got it right by adding Black coloured front bezel, which makes the device even more appealing to eyes.
