Xiaomi will be launching two new devices in China on June 25- one is the Redmi 6 Pro and the other one's the much-awaited Mi Pad 4. Its been over a year since the arrival of Mi Pad 3 and the Mi Pad 4 is coming at the right time. Last year's Mi Pad 3 arrived with MediaTek MT8176 chipset, but Xiaomi has now confirmed that this year's Mi Pad 4 will be coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, which is one of the powerful mid-range chipsets available in the market right now. Xiaomi also confirmed the tablet would feature Smart Game acceleration to enhance the gaming experience. As you might be aware of, the Mi Pad 4 runs Xiaomi's own skin MIUI which offers tons of Mi Pad-exclusive features. But the company is yet to reveal the version of MIUI the tablet boots- MIUI 9 or MIUI 10.

Other confirmed features of the Mi Pad 4 include 8-inch Full View 18:9 display on the front and a single rear camera. The tablet will sport unimetal body and most likely, there will be stereo speakers too.

As per various reports on Weibo, the Mi Pad 4 will have Full HD display, and a 6000mAh battery will be backing the entire tablet. Xiaomi is tipped to add a 13MP OmniVision OV13855 to the back of the device with f/2.0 aperture. Up front, we might see a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is also expected to come with LTE support, which will lure more users to purchase the tablet.

Right now, we don't have any information related to the pricing of the tablet, but it's expected to be priced aggressively. The Mi Pad lineup of tablets has been one of the successful series for Xiaomi in China, but the sad part is the Chinese company never brought them to international markets including India. Hopefully, that changes this year with the Mi Pad 4. To give an idea, the Mi Pad 3 was launched in April 2017 at a price of 1499 Yuan (approx. Rs 15,700).
